Changing habitual behaviors requires a change in thinking. Through a cognitive behavioral therapy ("CBT") approach to substance use disorders, we address the everyday thinking traps that can hinder those in recovery. For those resistant to change, CBT also has the potential to greatly enhance motivation.
Lighthouse Recovery has designed an outpatient curriculum using several of the most respected, evidence-based treatment theories and programs available. Our staff also engages in continuous trainings in order to stay informed of new approaches in the field, as well as to engage in continuous examination of our existing skills and methodologies.
